Step 1- Fill Application form duly filled and signed by the bride and the groom along with Online Form (Create User Credentials)

Step 2- Submit Documentary evidence of date of birth of both parties (Matriculation Certificate/Passport/Birth Certificate).

Step 3- Submit Documentary evidence regarding stay in Delhi of one of the parties

Step 4- Submit Separate affidavits from bride and groom giving:

Date of birth.

Present marital status: unmarried/widower/ divorcee.

Affirmation that the parties are not related to each other within the degree of prohibited relationship defined in the Special Marriage Act.

Step 5- Need 5-5 Passport size photographs of both parties

Step 6- Original divorce decree/order in case of a divorcee and death certificate of spouse in case of widow/widower

Step 7- Submit 2 Witness Details, PAN CARD mandatory

Step 8- Visit SDM office of your area with all the required documents and witness

Step 9- Get Certified once the documents are verified.
